A Light from the Past: Honoring the Biblical Borders of Israel Through Timeless Design
Our inspiration comes from the biblical borders of Eretz Yisrael, as described in the Torah and preserved throughout Jewish history.
These borders, stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates (Genesis 15:18) and encompassing the lands of the twelve tribes (Numbers 34:1-15), have been recognized as the divine inheritance of the Jewish people for millennia.
This same outline appears on the Ten Agurot coin, minted in 1985 as part of Israel’s New Shekel series, where it is placed beneath the Menorah—one of Israel’s most ancient and enduring symbols.
The design of the coin was inspired by a First Century BCE Jewish artifact, reinforcing its historical legitimacy and deep-rooted connection to our past.
